There is no cathedral door to post these questions on, and I don’t want to take the Martin Luther and Reformation metaphor too far.

But since this is an official International Cartographic Association site, and since I am the Chair, and since people online are verbally calling my colleague and I “unethical” for running the #365DaysOfMaps campaign, I figured I might as well post these questions I’ve been working on for weeks on this site for the entire cartographic community to have for posterity’s sake.

I stand by it all. I don’t give a damn if people think I’m a cartographic heretic. I invite others to debate rationally and logically, without vitriol. Stop othering prompt cartographers.

Stop pretending the world is not going to fully adopt AI technology. Please, embrace it and help shape how it is used.
